Arab Health Ministers’ Executive Office Provides Urgent Needs for Palestine

The Executive Office of the Council of Arab Health Ministers held a virtual meeting yesterday under the chairmanship of the Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Dr. Hala Zayed. with the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Tunisia, Morocco and Palestine.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Assistant Secretary General, Head of the Social Affairs Sector at the Arab League, Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, indicated that the meeting discussed topics on the agenda of the 55th session of Arab Health Ministers' Council, which will be held next Sunday.

The statement pointed out that the Executive Council affirmed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people, and allocated USD 500,000 for urgent health needs and humanitarian and technical aid to support the Palestinian health sector.
