Arab Coalition intercepts ‘hostile air target’ launched by Houthis

Samar

The Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia on Friday intercepted a "hostile air target"; launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting the Kingdom.

In a statement, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen also said that the forces were efficient; and thwarted an imminent hostile act.

The attack comes after the coalition announced on Friday morning that its forces destroyed an explosive-laded drone fired by the Houthi militia toward Khamis Mushait.

On Thursday, the coalition also intercepted and destructed an armed Houthi drone fired toward the Kingdom in the Yemeni airspace.
