Arab Coalition Destroys Armed Houthi Drone Fired at Najran

The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced on Tuesday that it has intercepted and downed an armed drone fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards Saudi Arabia.

Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki also said the aircraft was deliberately launched by the terrorist Houthis at civilian locations in Najran city.

On Sep. 28, the Coalition also intercepted and destroyed an armed Houthi drone targeting the Kingdom's southern region.

The Arab Coalition also destroyed the drone in Yemen's airspace, Coalition spokesman Col. Turki al-Malki said.

He also reiterated that the Houthi militias continue to intentionally target civilians in the southern region.

The Saudi-led Arab Coalition also destroyed on Saturday an air defense system for the Iran-backed Houthi militias; in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

The Arab Coalition also stressed its commitment to eliminate Houthi threats to regional and international security.
