Al-Azhar commended the precautionary and preventivemeasures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the spread of Coronavirusamong Muslims wishing to perform Umrah.
Al-Azhar said, in a statement today, "These measures arepermissible, legitimate and rewarded. Rather, they are a legal duty to protectpeople."
