Saudi Arabia's Culinary Arts Authority has launched the "Our Culinary Legacy" initiative to document Saudi recipes through digital or print platforms.
The move aims to create a database of Saudi recipes, enrich the cultural content of local cuisine, and serve the culinary sector in the future.
Each entry should be authentically Saudi with most of its components being from the local Saudi environment, and the historical aspect of the recipe should be clarified.
Entries will be received through the initiative's online platform (https://engage.moc.gov.sa/culinary) during the period April 16 – May 5, and the winners will be announced on May 26. The winning recipes will be published in a cookbook to be added to the Saudi Cooking Library.
