Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health is broadcasting awareness messages to pilgrims during this year's Hajj season through its website, various media outlets and in pilgrims' residences in Makkah and holy sites.
The awareness messages include preventive and precautionary measures that specialized authorities imposed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) during this exceptional Hajj season.
These measures include wearing masks, social distancing, ensuring hygiene and issuing medical advice targeting people with diabetes, asthma and other chronic diseases, as well as offering all services that contribute to facilitating pilgrims' performing of Hajj rituals.
