The Saudi Business Center (SBC) has launched the second phase of its Unified QR-Code service, further enhancing data accuracy and reliability for businesses. This expansion incorporates 120 licenses linked to the QR-Code document affiliated with nine government partners.
Building upon the initiative launched in January, the second phase allows businesses to consolidate all licenses and certificates from participating government partners into a single online document.
This streamlines data management, simplifies future updates, and eliminates the need for physical displays of individual licenses at each branch.
Customers can now easily verify primary data and operational licenses with a simple scan. The service reduces inspection times and minimizes the potential for data manipulation.
The initial phase partnered with the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority, and the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
This expansion introduces collaborations with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, General Authority of Media Regulation, Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Saudi Red Sea Authority, General Food Security Authority, Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority, and the General Organization for Social Insurance.
Businesses with valid commercial registration and a municipal license can generate the unified QR-Code through the SBC's Business platform at https://www.saudibusiness.gov.sa/.
