The US stock markets hit a new high recordtoday, which is considered to be the best annual performance since 2013.
The Standard & Poor's opened 3.83 points,or 0.12 percent, to 3227.20 points, while the Nasdaq increased 17.33 points, or0.19 percent, to the record of 8,970.21 points.
The Dow Jones industrial average scored 24.01points, or 0.08 percent, to 28,539.46 points.
