SMBC: Doubling Saudi exports is an investment priority

SMBC (Saudi-Moroccan Business Council) of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) held its first meeting for the Saudi side. This was in the presence of Secretary General of the CSC Dr. Khaled Bin Othman Al-Yahya; Chairman of the Saudi-Moroccan Business Council Ali Berman Al-Yami and members of the council.

The meeting reviewed the council's future plan aimed at stimulating Saudi-Moroccan investments. Besides, expanding bilateral trade of the two countries.

The Secretary General stated that the council works to support joint business councils by providing supporting programs to activate their economic roles; expand in the fields of investments as well as create commercial opportunities in line with Vision 2030.

Dr. Al-Yahya also highlighted the importance of the Saudi-Moroccan Business Council's role in doubling the trade between the two countries.

For his part, the chairman of the Saudi-Moroccan Business Council also said that increasing the market share of Saudi exports and their access to all regions in the Kingdom of Morocco are a strategic goal for the council, as this goal will be reached through fruitful cooperation with decision-makers from government agencies and the private sector from both sides.
