The award targets the government sector, private sector, nonprofit sector, and individuals through three main tracks.

The second track focuses on development and innovation, granting the award to the best developmental and innovative idea that contributed to raising energy efficiency levels.

The third track focuses on awareness and impact, where the award is granted for the best efforts that contributed to raising community awareness of energy efficiency and the importance of rationalizing consumption.

The Energy Efficiency Award aims to highlight the importance of improving energy efficiency, contributing to preserving natural resources, and enabling sustainable growth by motivating sectors and entities to adopt practices that enhance energy consumption efficiency and benefit from successful experiences in this field, in addition to encouraging sectors and individuals to pursue research and innovation in energy efficiency.
