The Ministry of Defense’s General Directorate for Health Services has completed operational preparations across Makkah and the holy sites ahead of the 1447 AH Hajj season, the ministry said on Friday.
The medical mission will operate across 41 locations with a total capacity of 1,122 beds, including seven field hospitals, four medical and ambulance centers, and 26 primary care and emergency clinics.
The deployment also includes two specialized heatstroke treatment centers and a dedicated emergency center to address heat-related cases and other medical incidents during the pilgrimage.
More than 2,160 medical, administrative and technical personnel have been assigned to support the operation, with teams prepared to provide healthcare services to pilgrims and respond rapidly to emergencies in the field.
