The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today signed its participation contract for Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade, marking a key milestone in the Kingdom’s preparations and transition into full implementation.
The signing underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade and its theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” and reflects the Kingdom’s intention to deliver a pavilion experience that is participatory, welcoming, and aligned with its national transformation agenda under Saudi Vision 2030.
Commenting on the signing, Deputy Minister for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning and Saudi Arabia’s Section Commissioner for Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade Rakan Tarabzoni said: "Today’s signing is an important step that advances our participation from planning into implementation. Saudi Arabia looks forward to contributing an experience that demonstrates how play—through sport, music, and digital creativity—can create opportunity, strengthen connections, and inspire a shared future.”
Saudi Arabia’s participation vision focuses on showcasing play as a pathway to opportunity, highlighting the role of culture, sport, and creative industries in empowering individuals and building thriving communities.
The Kingdom will work closely with the Expo Organizer and participating countries to deliver a pavilion and program that fosters collaboration, cultural exchange, and people-to-people engagement throughout the Expo.
Specialized Expo 2027 Belgrade will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, and will welcome participants and visitors from around the world.
