At the traditional craft pavilions of Saudi International Handicrafts Week (Banan), craftsman Abdulaziz Al-Zouman showcases Sadu weaving, preserving its authentic heritage while offering a modern interpretation.
Al-Zouman began working with Sadu four years ago alongside his wife, after training with a craftswoman in Taif.
The couple has adapted the craft to engage visitors from both Saudi Arabia and abroad.
They incorporate sustainable, lightweight materials such as cotton, nylon, and wire, while maintaining the traditional Saudi motifs.
