Riyadh will host the seventh edition of the Global Occupational Safety and Health Conference from May 4 to 6, under the patronage of Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health Ahmed Al-Rajhi, drawing a wide range of high-ranking officials, experts, and specialists from Saudi Arabia and around the world.
The conference will explore six key themes: workplace sustainability strategies, digitization and modern technology in occupational safety and health, the economics of safety, the future of research and innovation, emerging occupational challenges, and human behavior and safety culture.
This focus reflects the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing work environments and achieving professional standards aligned with global best practices, a core objective of Saudi Vision 2030.
The event aims to facilitate the exchange of local and international expertise in occupational safety and health, raise workplace awareness, and cultivate a culture of prevention.
It will also showcase national efforts in this field, provide a platform to highlight modern technical trends, support specialized research, and advance the Kingdom's legislative and regulatory framework to international standards, while contributing to the success of major national projects.
The conference program includes specialized scientific sessions, 60 workshops, 20 dialogue sessions, and the Global Occupational Safety and Health Hackathon, where 30 innovative projects will be presented.
An accompanying exhibition will feature relevant local and international organizations, with several significant agreements expected to be signed and new initiatives launched to further advance the occupational safety system in the Kingdom.
