The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed via videoconference a joint executive program with a civil society organization to build and rehabilitate 13 schools in Lahj and Al-Dhale governorates in the Republic of Yemen, benefiting 59,851 individuals.

The agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz.

Under the agreement, educational buildings will be provided for 13 primary and secondary schools and their facilities in rural and remote areas of Lahj and Al-Dhale governorates.

The project includes providing more than 45 equipped classrooms in areas experiencing disruptions in educational stages or overcrowding among male and female students in existing facilities.

This project comes as an extension of the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, within the program to support the continuity of education in the Republic of Yemen, through which more than 1,200 educational facilities in Yemen have been supported.
