The King Abdullah Financial District Development & Management Company (KAFD DMC) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with IoT Squared, a leader in Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, at the Cityscape Global, held here from November 11 to 14.
According to a KAFD press release issued today, the new partnership aims to advance KAFD's smart city infrastructure, sustainability practices, security, and operational efficiency, strengthening its position as Saudi Arabia's premier business and lifestyle destination.
Through this collaboration, the KAFD will enhance its urban infrastructure by integrating advanced smart city technologies, including renewable energy solutions, smart grid systems, and incident management capabilities, to optimize real-time data capture and response. Additionally, IoT-enabled safety devices will be introduced to improve public safety and employee monitoring.
