Under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, several international companies and national entities signed strategic agreements on the sidelines of the Global Industry Summit, which concluded in Riyadh last week, aimed at developing human capital and cultivating specialized national talent in advanced industries, including the electric vehicle sector.
The agreements included two signed by the Human Resources Development Fund with Hyundai and the National Automotive and Vehicles Academy (NAVA), as well as two signed by NAVA with Hyundai and CEER. Together, they aim to train and employ more than 256 young men and women in the automotive sector.
The summit also witnessed the signing of several contracts and memoranda of understanding by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) to establish new industrial and logistics projects across the Kingdom.
These included a partnership with Everwin, a subsidiary of the Wangkang Group, to develop an integrated industrial complex in Dammam’s Third Industrial City.
