The University of Tabuk yesterday concluded the third Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM 2026), which lasted three days, with the participation of international speakers, experts, academics, practitioners, and researchers.
The conference was organized by the International Organization for Industrial Engineering and Operations Management in cooperation with the university’s College of Engineering.
The conference provided a specialized scientific platform for exchanging expertise and strengthening partnerships between universities and industry, supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The conference included a series of scientific sessions that addressed the latest trends in simulation and digital twin technologies, applications of industrial engineering in efficient human resources design, sustainability concepts in the industrial environment, preparation of future engineers in line with national development requirements, as well as global trends in industrial engineering and its role in supporting sustainability and enhancing the circular economy.
