Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail inaugurated Cityscape Global 2025 in Riyadh today under the theme "The Future of Urban Living," with participation from developers, investors, and experts worldwide.

Al-Hogail extended gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support of the real estate and municipal sector, which has strengthened the Kingdom's position as a global model in urban development aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

He emphasized that Cityscape Global has become a global platform embodying the Kingdom's urban and economic development, offering investors opportunities in smart cities and human-centric communities.

Al-Hogail noted a fundamental transformation in the role of Saudi and international real estate developers, stating that the five major cities will require over 1.5 million housing units by 2030, with 731,000 needed in Riyadh alone, confirming the Kingdom's status as the region's largest urban development market.

The minister announced that real estate agreements exceeding SAR161.2 billion would be signed during the exhibition's first two days, reflecting the Saudi real estate market's strength and vitality, with more deals expected amid continued investor demand.

On real estate technology, Al-Hogail confirmed the sector has become fully digital, adopting PropTech solutions, artificial intelligence, modern construction methods, and augmented reality in planning and project management.
