Al-Wadiah border crossing in Saudi Arabia’s Sharurah Governorate bid farewell to Yemeni pilgrims returning home after completing the annual Hajj pilgrimage, with authorities reporting smooth departure procedures supported by multiple government agencies.

The operations were conducted under the supervision of Najran Governor Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, as government entities coordinated services and increased staffing to facilitate pilgrims’ departure and expedite processing at the crossing.

Authorities said the efforts were carried out in line with directives from the Kingdom’s leadership and under the governor’s oversight to ensure efficient movement through the border post.

Several Yemeni pilgrims expressed appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the services provided during Hajj.

They praised the organization of the pilgrimage, including transportation, train services and accommodations at the holy sites.

Pilgrims also thanked personnel at Al-Wadiah crossing for facilitating their return journey, saying procedures were completed efficiently and without significant delays.
