Ajel learned from its sources that the competent authorities have agreed to allow females with media licenses to manage their activities directly and openly in public places for men and women; such as forums, media seminars, and others.
Thesources added that the approval was made after coordination between the GeneralAuthority for Audiovisual Media and the Ministry of Interior, to find amechanism to ensure the realization of the public interest, in accordance withthe legal and regulatory controls, which govern the work of women in theKingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Itis worth mentioning that the Council of Ministers postponed taking thisdecision for five years, and women were allowed to work in places reserved forwomen only.
