Al-Athar Center launches the first international program in the Middle East in development Assessment

Al-Athar Center has launched the International Program for Development Assessment (IPDA), the first of its kind in the Middle East, held in the Kingdom for 15 days, in cooperation with ENAP University and support of the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector.

IPDA which is being held in its first version virtually in the presence of international experts in international development, is one of the new programs recently announced by Al-Athar Center to train local specialists on how to counter current and future challenges in assessing development processes and modeling work through the provision of modern evaluation tools and performance follow-up to facilitate decision-making and measure the expected impact.

Eng. Ahmed Al-Shamrani, Al-Athar 's CEO, said organizing IPDA for the first time in the Middle East helps in qualifying participants to join a network of Arabic-speaking development evaluators, adding that this program corresponds to promoting the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, achieving its objectives in the field of national transformation, and assessing the impact of practices to achieve sustainable development.
