While the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced, today, Monday, that the first Saudi citizen infected with coronavirus in Kuwait. He was coming from the Iranian city of Mashhad. The Saudi Ministry of Health said that the infected citizen will remain in Kuwait until his recovery.
Similar to Bahrain and the UAE, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health said that the three cases infected with Corona virus, the first case for a Kuwaiti and the second for a Saudi citizen and the third case of an unspecified person, who were coming from Iran, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
She explained, "Kuwaiti Health", that the health status of those infected with Coronavirus so far is normal, and they did not show any symptoms of the disease, noting that the three infected cases are under constant observation by the medical authority.
While the Saudi Ministry of Health announced, on its official page on the social networking site «Twitter», that coordination exists with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health to treat the citizen, who will remain in Kuwait until his recovery, according to scientific recommendations and standards approved by the World Health Organization.
Symptoms of a new coronavirus infection include symptoms of respiratory diseases, high fever, shortness of breath, sore throat and headache, and symptoms develop into pneumonia, according to the State Health Committee of China.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Health, the Coronavirus transfers from the infected person to another person, through close contact without protection, stressing that there is no specific treatment or vaccine for the virus so far, but intensive supportive care, and symptomatic treatment is the best way to deal with infection .
"Aajel Newspaper" offers preventive actions to avoid infection with the Coronavirus, according to the Saudi Ministry of Health, as follows:
1- Avoid mixing with others during the appearance of any respiratory symptoms to prevent coronavirus.
2- Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing to prevent coronavirus.
3- Keeping hands clean by washing them for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. Or with alcohol sterilizers to prevent coronavirus.
4- Disinfect or clean surfaces frequently touched.
5- Cook the food well.
6- Avoid touching your eyes and nose with unclean hands.
7- Avoid people who have symptoms like coughing.
8- Avoid mixing with animals.
