370 Government and Private Entities Benefit from SIDF Academy Programs

Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) Academy has announced the completion of 15 training programs for the first half of 2021, that were attended by 1400 trainees from 370 entities within the industrial ecosystem, represented by both public and private sectors. These programs have been held in partnership with nine local and global training providers.

The Academy programs include specialized training programs in the field of finance, business, and innovation and digitization.

These programs have been provided in collaboration with the best training providers from around the world, such as, Flitch Learning, London Business School, Stanford Center for Professional Development, Silicon Valley Innovation Center, and many others. These efforts are part of the Academy's role in enhancing the skills of employees within the industrial ecosystem, providing them with the latest knowledge and expertise, and empowering them with the latest professional developments in the targeted fields.

Among the most prominent programs offered by the Academy in the first half of 2021 were: "Finance for Non-Finance Professionals", "Financial Tools for Lending Decisions", "Certified Investment Financing Professional", "Financial Analysis & Due Diligence", "Managerial Accounting", "SME's Credit Analysis", "Project Finance" , "Business and Leadership" , "Leading Creative Transformation in Critical Times" and "Strategy and Governance Program for Board members" along with some other specialized programs.

During the second half of the year, the Academy intends to expand its range of targeted segments for its training programs through offering webinars intended for non-specialized candidates, such as, webinars on client experience, corporate sustainability, tax, and financial technology (Fintech). The SIDF established its Academy in 2019, as an extension of its long journey exceeding 47 years in training and preparing national cadres to provide the industrial sectors with highly qualified talents. Since its inception, the Academy has launched 35 training programs in partnership with more than 18 local and global training providers and has trained more than 3360 employees from 370 different entities within the industrial ecosystem.
