US military redirects 115 commercial ships amid renewed Iran maritime blockade

The US military has announced that its forces have redirected 115 commercial ships since the maritime blockade on Iran was reinstated.

Earlier, Iran’s foreign ministry stated that Tehran’s conditions for reviving diplomacy with the US include the acceptance of a “safe passage” through the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, Oman’s Maritime Security Center reported that a crew member of the commercial vessel Cape Dao died following an attack on the ship.
