Iran hails positive Qatar talks, cites US war in nuclear dispute

Iran’s foreign ministry said meetings held with the Qatari delegation in Tehran were positive, highlighting ongoing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.

The ministry explained that a Qatari delegation visited Iran on Sunday to support initiatives aimed at easing regional tensions.

Meanwhile, ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei stated at a press conference on Monday that Iran would take action in response to any decision by the United Nations nuclear agency against the country.

Baghaei added that efforts by some European countries to push for a UN resolution against Iran were unreasonable, especially given the complexities of accessing nuclear facilities because of the war with the United States.
