Russian forces target cargo ship carrying military equipment for Ukraine

Russia's Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that Russian forces targeted a cargo ship carrying military equipment supplied by Western countries to Ukrainian forces at the port of Chornomorsk.

In a statement carried by Russia's Sputnik news agency, the ministry said Russian armed forces continue to launch mass airstrikes on logistics centers, port infrastructure facilities, and naval vessels belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces.

The statement added: "During the day, long-range drones targeted a dry cargo ship and an oil tanker transporting components for manufacturing drones, munitions, and fuel for the Ukrainian armed forces in the Black Sea east of Odesa."

The statement continued: "During the day, long-range attack drones targeted a dry cargo ship at the port of Chornomorsk, which was carrying military equipment provided to the Ukrainian armed forces by Western countries."
