Israeli military: Security agencies not investigating Flydubai pilot themselves

Israeli Army Radio has confirmed that "the security establishment is not investigating the Omani pilot who tried to crash the flight coming from Dubai."

The report added that "the security establishment is expected to request information from the investigation."

Earlier, Israel's Ministry of Transport announced it would conduct a joint investigation with the security establishment regarding the Flydubai aircraft incident.

Flydubai had previously stated that an additional crew managed to safely land the plane, which was headed to Tel Aviv, at Tabuk airport in Saudi Arabia after an altercation occurred in the cockpit.
