UAE says Iranian missiles targeted maritime navigation

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that assessments showed two ballistic missiles detected coming from Iran were aimed at maritime navigation and fell into the sea.

The ministry affirmed its full readiness to respond to any threats and to firmly counter any attempts to undermine the country's security or regional maritime safety, ensuring the protection of national sovereignty, security, stability, and interests.

The ministry also urged Emirati citizens to rely on official sources for information and to avoid spreading rumors or inaccurate details.
