Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced on Monday that several power and water desalination plants have come under Iranian attacks for the fourth consecutive day, resulting in fires at some facilities.

In a statement, the ministry said its emergency teams responded immediately to the incidents in coordination with the General Fire Force and security authorities, successfully containing and extinguishing the fires. The ministry added that damage assessments are underway and repair plans have begun to restore affected facilities.

The ministry also noted that several generation units were taken offline as a precautionary measure to protect equipment and ensure the stability of both the electricity and water systems.
