Houthi commander and six aides killed near Bab Al-Mandab front

Senior Houthi commander Major General Firaq Mohsen Al-Assar, known as 'Abu Saqr Al-Qafr,' was killed along with six of his aides at the Kahboub front near Bab Al-Mandab.

According to Al-Hadath TV, Al-Assar was from Al-Qafr district in Ibb province and had held several military posts with the militia, most notably as commander of the 'First Commandos Brigade.' He participated in the Marib fronts and military campaigns in Ibb.

In a separate development, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that their warplanes targeted Houthi militia gatherings and vehicles at the Umm Rish camp and Mala'a pass south of Marib.

Yemeni warplanes also carried out airstrikes on Houthi militia gatherings and vehicles at the Al-Khashina and Umm Rish camps in Al-Jubah district.
