Iraqi prime minister warns uncontrolled weapons pose greatest threat

Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi said that uncontrolled weapons are the most serious threat facing the state.

Al-Zaidi added that it is necessary to enhance the capabilities of military institutions to ensure internal stability, according to Al Arabiya.

The prime minister also directed the preparation of a draft law to regulate arms possession in line with constitutional procedures, stressing that uncontrolled weapons undermine the authority of security institutions.
