Iran and Oman to sign joint Strait of Hormuz agreement on Monday

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that his country and Oman will sign an agreement on Monday regarding the joint management of the Strait of Hormuz.

Pezeshkian indicated that the agreement with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz will be communicated to the International Maritime Organization, according to Al-Sharq.

Pezeshkian had previously acknowledged that "the pressures facing Iran have reached a dangerous and critical stage," as the country grapples with worsening economic and living crises.
