Iran and Oman to sign joint Strait of Hormuz agreement on Monday

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that his country and Oman will sign an agreement on Monday regarding a joint approach to the Strait of Hormuz.

Pezeshkian added that the agreement with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz will be communicated to the International Maritime Organization, according to Al-Sharq.

Pezeshkian had previously acknowledged that the pressures facing Iran have reached a "dangerous and critical" stage, as the country continues to grapple with worsening economic and living crises.
