Part of Mount Al-Qantara collapses in southern Lebanon after Israeli blasts

A section of Mount Al-Qantara in southern Lebanon collapsed on Monday after a series of powerful, successive Israeli explosions shook the town, according to the National News Agency.

The collapse coincided with ongoing Israeli operations to lay mines and demolish remaining homes and infrastructure, as well as bulldozing cultivated land within villages occupied during its recent war on Lebanon.

In a separate development, the Israeli military carried out a large explosion in the town of Arnoun, in the neighborhood adjacent to the northern edge of Shaqif Castle.
