Algeria gives UAE ambassador 48 hours to comply with diplomatic break

Algeria has given the United Arab Emirates ambassador 48 hours to comply with its decision to sever diplomatic relations with the UAE, which was announced earlier today.

In a statement on Thursday, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the UAE ambassador was summoned to the ministry, where he was officially informed of the decision to cut ties. He was notified that he has been granted a 48-hour deadline to comply with the order.
