Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the continued Iranian attacks that targeted several vital facilities in Kuwait on Saturday, including a government site in the north of the country.

In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the ministry said the Iranian assault also struck civilian vehicles belonging to a company on Bubiyan Island, using hostile drones.

The ministry stressed that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability. It added that the strikes are a serious breach of international law, the UN Charter, the principles of good neighborliness, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

The ministry noted that the continuation of such attacks reflects a determination to pursue a hostile approach, undermining regional security and stability and escalating tensions.

The Kuwaiti foreign ministry reaffirmed the country's legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, security, interests, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
