Jordanian military intercepts five Iranian drones

A senior military source at the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army said that the armed forces dealt with five drones launched from Iran overnight and on Tuesday morning.

According to an official statement to the Jordan News Agency, the source explained that the drones were neutralized efficiently and precisely, in line with operational requirements and established defensive procedures. The operation resulted in no injuries or material damage.

The source affirmed that the armed forces continue to monitor the Kingdom’s airspace, maintain operational readiness, and take necessary measures to address any aerial object that poses a threat to the Kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens, in accordance with established rules of engagement.
