Iran vows to tighten Strait of Hormuz closure after US strikes

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has vowed to enforce a complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz following recent US strikes.

According to Fars News Agency, Iran has begun launching missiles and drones in response to the American attacks on Iranian positions.

Reuters also reported an explosion was heard in Asaluyeh, southern Iran, a major gas hub, after US President Donald Trump stated that the United States is prepared to "wipe out Iran" if it continues targeting ships.
