Russian strikes target drone launch sites, ship and ports aiding Ukrainian military

The Russian Ministry of Defense said on Monday that Russian forces continued airstrikes on drone launch sites, ports, and vessels supporting the Ukrainian armed forces. The ministry reported that up to 40 vehicles equipped with launch platforms were destroyed in a missile strike using Iskander missiles, which targeted heavy trucks modified to transport and launch long-range drones north of Boryspil in Kyiv region.

In a statement carried by Russia's Sputnik news agency, the ministry said Russian forces struck drone launch sites, ports, and vessels aiding the Ukrainian military.

The ministry also confirmed that its forces targeted a dry cargo ship carrying weapons and military equipment to Ukraine at the port of Chornomorsk in Odesa region.

According to the statement, strikes also targeted trains near the towns of Barvinkove in Kharkiv region and Mykolaivka in Dnipropetrovsk region. The ministry noted that regular strikes on railway infrastructure and locomotives used to supply Ukrainian forces are disrupting logistics and the delivery of supplies to Ukrainian troops.
