Israeli military official: Forces to remain in southern Lebanon until security improves

An Israeli military official has stated that Israeli forces will remain in southern Lebanon until the security situation changes.

He added that Lebanon must declare the south free of Hezbollah fighters, according to Al Arabiya.

The official clarified that following the Ali Al-Taher operation, the current moves are a redeployment rather than a reduction of forces, accusing Hezbollah of attempting to regain strength and bring in missiles and drones from Iran and its proxies.
