Ecuadorian intelligence chief and wife killed in Kenya helicopter crash

Ecuador’s intelligence chief Michel Sensi-Contugi and his wife were killed when a helicopter crashed in the Loisaba Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, resulting in the deaths of all seven people on board.

Kenya’s Civil Aviation Authority said the helicopter went down about 13 minutes after takeoff. Authorities have launched an urgent investigation into the cause of the crash, with recovery efforts hampered by the rugged mountainous terrain.
