Iran’s Revolutionary Guard claims missile strike on US systems at Kuwait base

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Tuesday that it had targeted US missile systems and military equipment at the Arifjan base in Kuwait, confirming the attack was carried out using surface-to-surface missiles, according to a breaking report by Cairo News Channel.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported renewed US strikes on southern Iran, including the city of Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island, while Iran’s official news agency said new explosions were heard in Hormozgan province.

On Monday evening, US Central Command announced that the United States had launched a new round of airstrikes on Iran at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (20:00 GMT).

These developments come amid escalating military confrontation between Iran and the United States, raising concerns about a wider conflict and its impact on regional security and maritime navigation in the Gulf.
