Jordanian military intercepts three Iranian missiles, fourth lands in remote area

Jordan's air defense systems intercepted and downed three out of four Iranian missiles that targeted the kingdom, while the fourth missile landed in a remote area in southern Jordan, far from populated regions.

A military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces told Petra News Agency that the incident caused no injuries or material damage. Engineering teams have begun securing the missile impact site in accordance with established technical and security procedures.

The source stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to monitor the kingdom's airspace at the highest state of readiness and will respond firmly to any threat to the country's security or the safety of its citizens.
