Iranian Revolutionary Guard: Trump misleading Americans, invites them to visit Hormuz

Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesman Hossein Mohibi on Thursday described US President Donald Trump as a “big liar,” referring to Trump’s remarks about nuclear weapons and other issues.

Mohibi said, “The American people should be informed of the truth,” adding that the United States had failed in its military campaign against Iran and should leave the region. He also invited Americans interested in verifying Iran’s statements about the region to visit Tehran and see the situation in the Strait of Hormuz for themselves.

According to Reuters, the spokesman said the invitation comes amid what he described as a lack of awareness among some Americans about the realities of the region, noting that learning these facts could influence their views on their government’s policies.

He added that the Revolutionary Guard is ready to facilitate visits for anyone wishing to verify the information in his message to the American people, including giving them the opportunity to closely observe the situation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The spokesman said visitors could then share their observations with the American public, confirming that Tehran is prepared to cover their travel expenses.
