Two Israeli soldiers killed, four wounded in southern Lebanon blast

The Israeli military announced on Thursday that two soldiers were killed and four others seriously wounded after an explosive device detonated as they entered a building in the town of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.

Israeli media reported that a preliminary military investigation found that a reserve unit entered a building in Majdal Zoun around midday Wednesday, and as the soldiers went inside, an explosion occurred, resulting in casualties.

The official announcement came after the Israeli military carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, in what was described as a continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
