Five injured, major damage as Russian airstrikes hit Ukraine's Sumy

Oleh Hryhorov, governor of Ukraine's northern Sumy region, said at least five people were injured in Russian airstrikes that targeted the city of Sumy overnight.

Hryhorov stated on his Telegram account on Monday that the attacks also caused significant material damage in several residential areas of the city.

The Ukrainian official added that emergency teams have begun work at the affected sites to assess the situation and provide support to residents.
