Houthi military capabilities pose global threat, analyst warns

Political analyst Fares Al-Beel has warned that the Houthi militia's possession of advanced military capabilities poses a threat that extends beyond the region, given their actions that endanger international security and violate global conventions and norms.

Speaking to Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Beel described the group as the largest rogue terrorist organization in the world, noting its military strength and control over significant territory. He said this makes the Houthis a global threat, as they operate outside international norms and humanitarian values, with the danger heightened by their access to weaponry.

Al-Beel added that the group has launched ballistic missiles at civilian neighborhoods in Mokha, Marib, and other provinces and cities. He pointed out that Iranian-supplied weapons in Houthi hands are particularly dangerous, describing them as "blind weapons" that target any object in their path before detonating.
