Russian defense ministry claims control of two towns in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia

In a statement carried by Russia's Sputnik news agency, the ministry said: "As a result of active offensive operations by units of the Russian 'Center' group, Novogryshino in the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated yesterday, September 10."
The statement added that over the past week, 13 dry cargo ships, two oil tankers, two tugboats, and two boats belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces were targeted.
It continued: "The Russian armed forces carried out a large-scale airstrike and six group air raids using precision-guided weapons and long-range drones."
According to the ministry, Ukrainian losses in this sector amounted to more than 1,395 soldiers, 10 armored combat vehicles, 108 vehicles, 12 field guns, and seven electronic warfare and counter-battery stations.
The statement also said that units from five mechanized brigades, an assault brigade, a Jaeger brigade, an unmanned systems brigade, two assault regiments, two marine brigades, and four National Guard brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces were neutralized.
