Key Takeaways
AIRamih Al-Jabri, director of the Yemeni Media Observatory, stated that Iran is behind the funding of the Houthi militia and supplies it with various types of weapons.
Speaking to Al-Ekhbariya TV, Al-Jabri added that other parties, including regional actors, are also involved in attempts to turn Yemen into a battleground for conflict.
He continued that the international public is well aware of the situation in Yemen, citing UN expert reports and International Crisis Group findings, which are based on field investigations, interviews with specialists and victims, and document war crimes committed by the Houthis.
On the ground, Yemeni armed forces and resistance groups continue to pursue Houthi militias across all fronts as part of Operation "Dawn of Yemen," while the militia targets military sites and civilian infrastructure and maintains a siege on Taiz, in clear violation of international law, which the group does not recognize.
