Military and strategic analyst Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Al-Qahtani said that the killings, destruction, and displacement carried out by the Houthi militia reflect its terrorist nature and its aim to destabilize Yemen.

Speaking to Al-Ikhbariya Radio, he added that such actions are not surprising from the Houthis. He noted that one might have expected some rationality or a positive message from them, but this is the mentality of militias.

The military analyst continued that the Houthi militia exists to spread terror, displace Yemenis within their own country, and kill them in their cities and villages. He pointed out that Iran, which funds the militia, is also in a difficult situation, and the Houthis themselves are facing their toughest days.

It is worth noting that in recent days, the Houthi militia has carried out terrorist operations targeting the port of Mocha and attempted to attack maritime navigation in the Bab Al-Mandab Strait, in addition to committing human rights violations inside Yemen.
